Originally created by Claunch & Miller, Inc. (part of HDR Engineering as of 2008) in 2002, this file has been maintained in-house since then. Updates are provided through a combination of as-builts, field verifications, and word of mouth from employees who have worked on a particular feature.<\/SPAN><\/P>

The file primarily contains information on the diameter (in inches) and material of the pipes. The information for both fields is contained in a drop-down (WLineSize1 domain for the size and WLineMaterial for the material). <\/SPAN>YEAR_INSTALL [Installation Year] <\/SPAN>is an unused field intended to contain the year the pipe was installed. <\/SPAN>AssetID [Fire Lead ID] <\/SPAN>contains the unique identifier for each line.<\/SPAN>Z_MIN, Z_MEAN, Z_MAX, SLENGTH, MIN_SLOPE, MAX_SLOPE<\/SPAN><\/SPAN>and <\/SPAN><\/SPAN>AVG_SLOPE<\/SPAN><\/SPAN>are all measured in feet and degrees. All Z values are in feet and slope data is in degrees of slope. All Elevation data is Surface Elevation.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

Due to VUEWorks (Public Works\u2019 work order system), care must be taken when deleting features. The IDs cannot be reused and must be retired after a deletion.
