Description: Originally created by Claunch & Miller, Inc. (part of HDR Engineering as of 2008) in 2002, this file has been maintained in-house since then. Updates are provided through a combination of as-builts, field verifications, and word of mouth from employees who have worked on a particular feature. The file primarily contains information on the size (in inches) and material of the pipes. The information for both fields is contained in a drop-down (FMLineSizes domain for the size and SanLineMaterial for the material). Additionally, the SERVESLS [LS Area] field contains the name of the LS associated with the force main. Z_MIN, Z_MEAN, Z_MAX, SLENGTH, MIN_SLOPE, MAX_SLOPE and AVG_SLOPE are all measured in feet and degrees. All Z values are in feet and slope data is in degrees of slope. All Elevation data is Surface Elevation.Due to VUEWorks (Public Works' work order system), care must be taken when deleting features. The IDs cannot be reused and must be retired after a deletion. The retired IDs for this feature class are: 6.

Description: Originally created by Claunch & Miller, Inc. (part of HDR Engineering as of 2008) in 2002, this file has been maintained in-house since then. Updates are provided through a combination of as-builts, field verifications, and word of mouth from employees who have worked on a particular feature.Field breakdown: The unique identifier for the fhs, which consists of the fire district number* and a base number, is in the FHNUMBER [FH ID] field. The individual components of the identifier are in the FHNOPREFIX [FH Prefix] and FH_NO [FH Number] fields. The fire district to which the fh is associated is listed in the DISTRICT [Fire District] field, and the associated Council District is listed in CouncilDist [Council District]. The MANUFACTUR [Model]field uses the FireManu domain to list the fh’s model, and the MANUFACTU2 [Model Year]field contains the year the fh was made. STATUS [Status] contains the fh’s current repair status via the FHStatus domain (the status updates were provided via a weekly email from a designated Public Works Administrative Assistant but stopped after January 5, 2018, due to the implementation of a new work order system) while the DATEINSTAL [Update Date]field contains the date of the status update email. The VALVE_ON_H [Has Valve]field uses the YesNo domain to indicate whether the fh has a water valve. The GPS_DATE [GPS Date] and GPS_TIME [GPS Time]fields contain information about when the feature was originally shot into the system. The NORTHING [Northing (Y)], EASTING [Easting (X)] Z [Elevation (Z)] fields contain coordinate data. All Z values are in feet. All Elevation data is Surface Elevation.Due to VUEWorks (Public Works’work order system), care must be taken when deleting features. The IDs cannot be reused and must be retired after a deletion. The retired IDs for this feature class are: 239, 1072, and 1703.* Two of the fire district borders changed sometime before 2013 but afterthe fh numbering system was implemented, resulting in a situation where some fhs have numbers that do not match their district.

Updates are provided through a combination of as-builts, field verifications, and word of mouth from employees who have worked on a particular feature.Field breakdown: POINT_ID [Valve ID] contains the unique identifier for each valve, with the first digit references the fire district in which the valve is found. ASSETID [Asset ID] is the randomly assigned, unique identifier used by VUEWorks (Public Works' work order system)*. LID [Lid Condition]uses the ValveLid domain to rate the condition of the valve’s lid (note that this field has not been updated since the valves were originally entered). PHYS_LOCA [Physical Location]uses the ValveLocation domain to describe where the feature is located (e.g., street surface). TYPE [Type]uses the ValveType domain to denote the type of valve (e.g., gate valve). OPEN_DIREC [Open Direction] designates the direction (left or right) the valve must be turned to open it. DIAMETER [Diameter (in)]uses theWLineSize1 domain as a dropdown to record the diameter (in inches) of the valves. POSITIONTYPE [Position Type] categorizes the valves by their relation to other water infrastructure. The GPS_DATE [GPS Date] and GPS_TIME [GPS Time]fields contain information about when the feature was originally shot into the system. The NORTHING [Northing (Y)], EASTING [Easting (X)] Z [Elevation (Z)] fields contain coordinate data. DEPTH_HEIGHTis the below or above Z, the surface elevation. The following fields were populated by Data Transfer Solutions in 2017: IMAGE [Image]contains the file name of a picture of the feature; STREET [Street]contains the name of the street on which the feature is located; CONDITION [Condition] and CONDITIONINDEX [Condition Index] are condition ratings; and the INSTALLYEAR [Installation Year] and CONMMENTS [Comments] fields should be self-explanatory. To derive the actual elevation of a feature = Z + DEPTH_HEIGHTAll Z values are in feet. All Elevation data is Surface Elevation.Due to VUEWorks, care must be taken when deleting features. The IDs cannot be reused and must be retired after a deletion. The retired IDs for this feature class are: 1681, 1700, 1735, 2240, 2241, 3781, 5292, and 6871. (The retired Valve IDs are: 10640, 10812, 10863, 10864, 11229, 50502, 50503, and unknown.)* The reason for two different IDs is that VUEWorks uses randomly assigned IDs; it cannot handle IDs that have meaning.

Description: This file was originally created sometime between 2004-2010 from information provided by the Director of Public Works.Field breakdown: The unique identifier for individual features is stored in the AssetID [Wtr. Plant ID] field. The ID [Type Code] field is coded to represent the type of structure based on the WaterPlantsType domain. DESC_ [Description]lists the name of the structure. The NORTHING [Northing (Y)], EASTING [Easting (X)] Z [Elevation (Z)] fields contain coordinate data. DEPTH_HEIGHTis the below or above Z, the surface elevation. To drive the actual elevation of a feature = Z + DEPTH_HEIGHTDue to VUEWorks (Public Works’work order system), care must be taken when deleting features. The IDs cannot be reused and must be retired after a deletion. This feature class has not had any post-VUEWorks deletions.
